CHILDHOOD vs ADULTHOOD
My childhood days are days i still remember and look back at even now.
These were days i felt at home, felt cherished, felt accepted.
I missed no one, i had eyes adoring me. Eyes that showed pride for me.
Days of simplicity, i was lovely. Daddy’s girl. I was twinning with my two golden sisters.
There are things that leaves so much marks in you. The good marks that makes you. Watching LION KING when i was little with my sisters, but now watching the remake alone.
Nostalgia, a party of it when a redo or similar occurs. Deja Vu. Not the sweetest reminder seeing these times.
Now as an adult, there are alot of reality checks. Alot of growing up and constant decisions as to whether to let your guard down or not.
The pains of growing will keep you up at night. Even the weight of feeding will not stop ringing like a broken record.
My dad would always chase me whenever i fall asleep on the couch when i was little to go sleep in the room but i would cry and end up sleeping off on the couch, then find myself on my bed the next morning.
These constant reminders as an adult. Pick yourself up, no one will do it for you. Brush your teeth, brush your hair and make up your mind to enjoy the proceeds of Adulthood. You only live once!

BENZUKICH:
Children, come listen to grand daddy!
Gather round, let me tell you all a story…
Of when I was young, when I was still a baby,
Living free, without a single worry.
Being a child was fun and full of joy,
I was truly happy, proud and bold.
Life then, was one to enjoy.
At the time I wished I never grew old.
The days before my youth was so much fun.
In my youth was when my life begun.
I had to put in the work, as it was my dawn…
In order not to look back and wonder where the time had gone.
Let me end by telling you something about adulthood.
You will know it hit you when it does eventually.
All I can say now is that life is good.
So live your life and make so many memories. ~

*…when I was a child*
Dancing in the rain;
Jumping in the mud;
Sorrow was nothing but vain;
Depression was something I could not afford;
Dancing in the rain;
Jumping in the mud;
I was immune to shame;
I didn’t need to hide in a pod;
Dancing in the rain;
Jumping in the mud;
My imagination was an adventure train;
The only luxury I could afford;
Dancing in the rain;
Jumping in the mud;
My heart was pure and without stain;
Each heartbeat an ecstatic and peaceful thud;
Dancing in the rain;
Jumping in the mud;
These are my tales when I was a bairn.
For these memories, I’m still grateful to the Lord.
“`©GOSPELWORDS“`
Childhood, a time of bliss,
Days filled with love, so hard to miss,
Grandma’s tales, and mom’s sweet voice,
Dad’s stern words, the choices we’d make, our choice.
Days spent playing, without a care,
The world so big, yet we didn’t dare,
To venture far, we were content,
In our little world, it was heaven sent.
As we grew, so did our dreams,
A yearning for freedom, or so it seems,
To spread our wings, and take flight,
To explore the world, and all its delight.
But little did we know that childhood,
Was the only time, when life was good,
No worries, no cares, just pure joy,
The innocence of youth, a treasure to employ.
And as we step into adulthood,
We look back, with a sense of gratitude,
For the love and care, that we received,
And the memories, that we’ll forever keep.
So here’s to childhood, a time to treasure,
And to adulthood, a time of adventure,
May we hold dear, the lessons we’ve learned,
And embrace each moment, with passion unturned.
