They say memories brings back memories,
All i know is, moments indeed turns to memories.
You live in the moment, but before you know it, they are pictures and days gone by. Weeks gone by. Months. Years. Decades.
Memories are either bitter or sweet, or bitter-sweet. All you can remember is the genuine happiness you felt at that point, or the crucial pain.
At least you remember something.
Below, are creative notes on MEMORIES, written by the Writers That Are Friends(WTAF) Sub-group of the GN&B Community:
Memories
A shadow passed through my mind,
Reminding me of a precarious time.
Not so long ago, where I’d find simple pleasures in our innocent crime.
The thought, now too much to bear.
That innocence now too far to reach.
The reality of this modern fear.
A lesson that life had to teach.
I’d seen it through the opaque glass…
The end of my juvenile bliss.
The end of my dreams enmass.
I blew them goodbye like a sweet kiss.
And then they fade away…
Unlike the wounds etched in my soul,
I tried to beg them to stay.
But was left with a void, a gaping hole,
Maybe I wasn’t meant to feel peace.
In my mind, a constant war must rage.
I was never meant to feel at ease.
But rather to be locked in a cage.
Maybe the oath of my youth, would be looked upon without a frown.
Either way, I’d live my truth.
As it all comes down,
Maybe the pain in this path of my ignorant maturity,
Would be like temporary wrath.
A scar, a distant memory.

MEMORIES:
The most valuable things to you are seen worthless in you.
Every moment shared with a person(s) that has come to an end – is called memories.
Memories is about remembering the past, either good or bad.
It is like a photograph taken by the heart to make special moments last.
It reminds you of the roads you have travelled and the people you loved.
It is a way of holding onto the things you love to remind you of who you are and never want to lose.
Memories makes you cherish the times you had together with others. A good example, is taking of pictures and making videos with friends in a nice place.
After that day , whatever experience you’ve shared, the fun you had and other things done that day has become a memory.
This is because, everything that happened has become a past. So all you have to do is to cherish it.
It also affects your thinking and behavior.
Here is an instance, the memory of a successful business man .Example. Aliko Dangote, has made several people (individual) to pursue further on having more than one businesses and maintain a coherent sense of achieving the same success as he already did.
If not exactly, but something close.
Memories have a lot of effect on us as human than we think.
Who you are today and the things you still aim to accomplish in life, is on the memory of someone. A good example is your mentor.
It may be the person’s lifestyle, mode of dressing, academic success, successful in business, firm, and so on.
Which changes your psychological thinking and make you act or behave like it, either in a positive or negative way.
It depends on the path you choose for yourself.
You just don’t know the worth of something or moment until it becomes-memory.
As time passes, every present become a past, people change everyday, so as the sun shines by day and moon by night to make a new day;
Cherish every moments you have, bring out something beautiful from it, and make it add a significant figure to your life.

Memories:
We keep telling stories,
Of moments that were once memories.
We love to tell them again and again,
So that we may never forget that which kept us sane.
We can never forget…
who we once were,
who we can never be,
who we once loved,
who we could never love,
who we forgave,
who we could never forgive,
the laughter that we shared,
the vows that were made,
the wave of nostalgia that it brings
each time we look back.
Memories are lovely to those who cherish them.
But no one ever talks about how hard they are to create.
All the good-byes that have to be said.
All the cries that were never heard.
All the teary cheeks that have to be wiped.
All the hugs that have to be given.
The broken hearts that were left unseen.
All the wounds that would never heal.
All the scars that would never fade,
from the carefree days of childhood
to the growing pain of youth.
All sides effect of that bitter truth.
Memories…
I could tell you of a time where it meant dancing with the trees
or even now, with many tales of miseries.
But above all else,
we cherish the ones that we have.
So we aspire to make new ones.
Each day as a start,
So that we may store them in our heart.

Memories:
What would you call memories?
A gift or a curse
Think about it.
Some would say that it’s a gift of course, unforgettable stories,
But those stories could either be good or bad.
Think about it.
Some memories aren’t so sunny, or even as sweet as honey not even the least funny.
But are as bitter and potent and foul as a plague.
Playing over and over and over in your head like a loop that is never ending.
Think about it.
The poetic beauty of some of these memories are that they sometimes make you feel guilty for things you have done wrong.
They tear through the lies we tell ourselves and show us not who we think we are, but reality.
Think about it.
Although good memories give you pleasure, make you happy even.
Those are memories to treasure, value, cherish and hold dear.
But they aren’t the only ones we have,
Think about it
It is a two sided coin really, on one side there are the happy memories, an on the other side there are the ones that brings you to tears, complete nightmares.
The truth is that we have no power to pick the memories to have.
That is something to understand clearly,
Think about it.
Are there truly such a thing as happy memories?
Or are they reminders of good times you can no longer have, loved ones you can no longer talk to, the blissful ignorance that come with childhood which you no longer possess.
Think about it
Let’s be honest with ourselves, what would you call memories?
A gift or a curse.

Good Job Dear!
Always try to appreciate every moment you live. You live only but once. Each moment is unique on its own and can never be relieved. Show gratitude to the owner of the universe. Don’t allow yourself to miss every moment until when it has become a memory. Thanks to all of you because you have not only made every moment bearable but also unforgettable.
