JORDAN SANDERS: A little girl who was always bullied by her classmates, she got the last of it when she did a science project and was mocked and hit with the swing ball that she used for her project; she vows not to be herself anymore, to be smart like a boss, so that no one will never walk over her like that again.
Jordan Sanders then grew up ,she became a boss alright! But a mean boss, a salty saucy boss who gives no room for any fresh air among her employees.
She flairs up about little things including her PA April not reminding her house keeper Ellen whose name is actually Linda “to put my slippers exactly 53 centimetres away from her bed, so when I hop out my feet can land on them, I mean am I being unreasonable? is that too much to ask?”
After yelling at April to run to work before she gets there, she goes to her kitchen and finds that her lover spent the night, she scolds him and sends him away, she tells her visual assistant ‘Home Girl’ to play her jam, she dresses for work and pushes a kid who was standing in her way, she jumps a coffee queue: pays and collected her usual and when she got outside she yells at some guys who were resting on her car and warns Valet to not allow it repeat itself else she will body slam and fire him. She gets to work and everyone panics out of the way when they learnt she is in the building, she sees a little girl standing by the side of her office building, impressing some people with her few magic trick and tells her that she should disappear cuzs there is no such thing as magic.
She enters inside and some staffs who were singing birthday songs and blowing candles cleared up quickly before she sees them and when April tells her that her biggest client Mr Connor is in her office she questions how he got there and tells a April that she knows she isn’t suppose to speak directly to him and storms off.
Mr Connor gives her 48 hours to come up with something genius to keep him still interested and invested in her company.
She calls a meeting and asks them to give her big ideas which she rejected and yells,and poke one staff on the head and scorns when they all gave her their ideas.
April told her she has an idea but she refused to hear and pitch and tells her to concentrate on being her assistant. The little girl with the magic tricks heard this and gets upset she waves her wand in front of her and said “I wish you were little!”. Jordan blank for a second and felt dizzy and yells at April to get the girl away from her.
The next morning, Jordan wakes up. Luckily slippers right in place. She gets up to get coffee but didn’t realize the she’s become little as she steps out of the elevator to go buy coffee, she pushes the little boy out of her way who in turn pushes her back, she fell and he ran away. At the coffee stand, she asks for the usual placing the money on the counter the way she normally does but they laugh at her and when she told them that she is an adult they laughed at her like she is crazy. She checks her face on the coffee maker machine stainless and was shocked and said she needs to go to a doctor immediately, she tried to unlock her car and drive out but couldn’t because Valet wouldn’t let her for fear of Losing his job.She ran back inside and her neighbour saw her and asks her but she said she is Jordan Sanders daughter but she shouldn’t tell anyone cuzs her mother keeps her hidden and as she enters inside, her neighbour calls child services.
Inside the house, Jordan looks at the mirror and realizes that she is little again. April comes in and didn’t believe till Jordan explains past experiences with her and they start to try to figure out what happened and how to get her back to normal, then they realized it was the little girl’s spell and they agreed to find out where the girl is and make her turn her back to normal. Just then, Child Services knocks.
She tells them that if little Jordan isn’t enrolled in school April would be arrested and she assigned her to WINTER MIDDLE SCHOOL-Jordan’s former school. After child services left they arrange and Jordan asks April to fill and run her company in the meantime but under orders and April in turn asks for a promotion.
April leaves for work and Jordan for school but at school Jordan gets a little scared to go inside her first, then she flirts with the handsome teacher Gary . And she gets mocked again. She finds herself sitting at the worst table during lunch as she talks to them she realizes they plan to get out of the friend zone with the performance they have for their pep rally.
Back at work Preston a co-worker and April’s friend tries to encourage her as April panics cuzs she couldn’t command their attention as she was under Jordan’s command.
They go out to a restaurant and still no news about the Doughnut truck that the little girl came with, Jordan asks April “what’s up between you and Preston?” And she says they are just friends. And she tells April that she is too scared to get at him and that her problem is can’t close the deal. April tells her that she isn’t any better cuzs “she higher employees and don’t trust them, she meets people but don’t make friends, you date and don’t commit.” And Jordan said it is cuzs she is a boss.
Jordan sips some wine and start singing “I’m going down by Mary J Blige”. April tries to stop her but joins in and after making a bit of a mess they both ran out.
They got home from shopping and Jordan begs April to stay and while weaving Jordan’s hair, Jordan tells April that she wasn’t like this before that people made her mean, they were always hard on her and April tells her that she understands.
Just then Jordan’s visual assistant ‘Home girl’ changes the mood in the room-the lights and a love song and Jordan immediately knew that he is here. Trevor! He saw little Jordan and Thinks little Jordan is Jordan Sanders’ daughter and says he understands and is going to be there for her.
The next morning, during breakfast, April tells Jordan that there is a reason why she became little again that she has what everyone wishes for and has to use this opportunity to do some different.
She goes to school stunning in a pink blazer and her friends goes for the school’s pep rally audition themed “winchella”- they messed up at the audition and Jasmine, the mean girl who mocked and put straws in Jordan’s hair is the judge tells them they are in just to make more fun at them at Pep Rally. Jordan takes them to her house and gives them makeovers and tells them the internet is where they should focus on getting more friends. Followers. Raina, Devon and Stevie takes pictures with flashy accessories and brand clothes and they celebrated as their followers increased. Jordan tells them to forget winchella else all their followers will go back Down as she says bye to them. Walks in with bags of toys.
Back at the office, April runs the meeting the way she knows how to-calmly and with reasonable communications. Mr Connor shows up unexpected (his meeting for their pitch is supposed to be the next day) and because she couldn’t reach Jordan on time and Mr Connor was getting impatient she tells him about her own idea DISCOVER EYES. Mr Connor says he likes the name and will be back tomorrow for the pitch.
Trevor Conversed with Little Jordan and he tells her how much he cares about her mum and knows that to be guarded, she must be feeling lonely. Jordan got convinced that isn’t after her money cuzs he is doing well financially and she sees that he really cares about her.
Jordan shows up at the office raging and tells April that she did it for herself not for her, April gets upset and quit. The employees look and stares clueless, they asked her whose child she is and she overheads one saying he wish Jordan wouldn’t ever come back.
Jordan got home and depressingly asks God for a sign then she got a video from her friend Raina in Winter Middle School, the pep rally is going on and they aren’t participating because she told them it is social suicide with the caption ‘safe on sidelines’.
Jordan feels bad and after tricking Valet she drives to the school. April calls her and tells her she is still upset with her but she’s found the Doughnut truck but Jordan says she has to help the school children. She gets to the school and tries to talk them into doing their dance but they refused, Jordan storms on stage and danced with the crowd cheering for her. April shows up with the girl with the magic wand . Jasmine got jealous and put on a giant fan right in front of Jordan which made pieces fly in her face and made her trip and fall. Her friends rushed to help her up and as they started to leave goes back and sings, they all joined and started dancing. The whole school loved it.
After the dance, the children thanks her and little girl tries to turn Jordan back but it didn’t work there.
Jordan gives up and tells April that she is going to come out and tell people what happened to her but it became obvious that Jordan’s changed. She said “Sorry” to April. And you that She is a really good friend. She tells April to do her pitch the next day to Mr. Connor.
The next morning Jordan wakes up her big self again, she happily dresses up and shows up at the board meeting when April was about to pitch. She gives April the credits and allows her to pitch but Mr Connor didn’t like it. Jordan encourages her afterwards and tells her that she can still sell it.
3 Months Later.
Jordan and Trevor are shown doing more lovely in their relationship.
And at office Jordan shouts for all of them to come out side, the employees were scared little did they know Jordan got snacks and is throwing a celebration because April as finally sold DISCOVER EYES. April wasn’t aware and Jordan changes the name of her company from JSI to JSI and ASSOCIATES.
The doughnut truck and girl with with the magic trick shows up plus Raina, Devon and Stevie and they all merried.
Oh! By the way, April kissed Preston.
And Home Girl played ‘BE YOURSELF’ by CHLOE & HALLE.
