Sephy, the cross daughter of powerful home Secretary Kamal Hadley who is corrupt reunites with Callum, the Nought son of their houskeeper Meggie McGregor who is upset about a conflict with the police and whose friend was knocked down by a Cross Policeman without a reason and the news came out that they attacked the police and whose brother due to the ill treatment from the colonies joins bad people who says they are putting an end to the injustice. Callum and Sephy reunited on her mum’s birthday who is an alcoholic because she doesn’t get enough time at all from her husband. She cheats on him and Kamal saw her lover sneaking out on her birthday but didn’t say anything.
Sephy is dating Lekan a senior cadet who is full of himself and aggressive.
Callum is trying out for the same Military school as Lekan A.N.D.F. Lekan rudely speaks to Callum in front of Sephy at the party.
Meggie and Kamal Hadley shares a secret.
After the party, Kamal’s wife is drunk.
The next morning, Callum goes for his interview but his elder brother Jude isn’t pleased at all that Callum is going to train alongside Crosses and be answering to them.
After Callum told Sephy that the police lied about what happened with his friend; she gets interested and starts a mini investigation.
Callum makes friends with Ellen who he met at the entrance gate of A.N.D.F. The screening begins.
Callum gets in and is told to start on Monday. 6am Sharp.
Callum and Jude both went to visit their friend at the hospital. A riot engulfs when the police asks all the NOUGHTS who were outside the hospital to leave immediately. Callum tries to stop Jude from getting into the riot but gets distracted when he saw Sephy, she tells him she has to do something and they both go inside to see him, they saw his parents at the waiting room who told them that they aren’t allowed to go inside their son’s ward.Sephy goes to talk to one of the authorities and they let them in.
On their way out some other Noughts confronts Callum because he is with a Cross and in the middle of the fight, Sephy yells “get off me BLANKER!” (BLANKER is like a racist insult to the Noughts). Callum is shocked. A police approaches and the scene dissolves except Callum is upset at Sephy.
Sephy’s sister Minerva is less interested and unconcerned about the issues that Sephy brings to her about the ill treatment of the Noughts.
Sephy goes out in the night to see Callum at his house, he sneaks her to the back. On the roof and she apologizes.
Jude’s bad gang leader-Mr Dorn walks into the hospital while Jude was inside beside his friend.
Callum tells Sephy that he is only joining the military so at least he can try to change things for the Noughts. A spark is ignited. They share a kiss.
Mr Dorn tells Jude to go get him a drink and choked the wounded guy laying on the hospital bed with a pillow. He dies. Mr Dorn immediately calls for the nurses, so nobody suspects.
Callum sneaks Sephy back out.
