In the second episode, Flashbacks about the accident that took Beth and their mother, how everyone went looking for them and could not find their bodies. Kate and GCPD searches for Alice, Mr Jacob Kane -Katie’s father is the head of GCPD, he asks Kate to stay out of the investigation. Katie thinks Alice is Beth.
Alice holds a meeting with her gangs and says Jacob Kane is not man enough to keep the city safe because when things gets difficult he gives up. Alice is Beth and is angered that her dad gave up on finding her.Sophie suspects that Katie is the one that came in BATMAN’s suit to rescue her. Katie and Sophie were once lovers but separated because the police force that they were trainig for would not permit their relationship. Katie quit but Sophie continued with the GCPD training.
Katie discovers that Mary, her father’s new wife’s daughter; has a secret hospital where she attends to patients. Katie is impressed because she always thought Mary was just a party girl.
Katie and Sophie meets privately and Kate asks Sophie to run a DNA on the knife that Katie took from the kidnap scene (the knife has the same diamond that Katie and Beth newly wore around their neck before the car crash), some men from Alice’s gang attacked them and took the knife from them.
Kate releases the one man that they captured from Alice’s gang and told him to go tell Alice ‘WAFFLES’.
The commander figures out where Alicd might be hiding and headed with the GCPD to go get her. Kate begs Sophie to buy her some time.
Jacob lead was at the house Beth grew up. Alice wasn’t there. Sophie asks the commander if he also think Alice is Beth.
At the Waffle stand, Katie flashes back to the days she and Beth would sit on a bench there and have Waffles and in her thoughts she blames herself for not bring able to rescue Beth and her mum in the accident. Alice shows up.
Seeing what Alice did to the current owner of the house they were investigating, Sophie changes her mind and tells Jacob that she knows where Alice is.
Alice admits to Katie that she is BETH and explained how she survived the car accident. She asks Katie a question: “After i disappeared, when did you findlly sleep in the night?”.
Suddenly, the commander and his troop showed up, Katie stands in front of Beth blocking them. Katie tells Jacob that she is his daughter, they all dropped their weapons and took her with them.
Katie is disappointed in Sophie.
Alice already sent her boyfriend to attack Mary (Katie’s step sister):she tells Katie this while she was being taken away snd Katie rushes off to Mary’s secret hospital and saves her.
The GCPD car that was taking Alice went up in flames and the car that has Alixe in it fell down the same bridge that Beth and her mum’s car fell in.Katie rushes off has BATWOMAN to rescue her and after giving a mask so she can breathe, they got separated by an explosion in the water.
The GCPD almost discovered Batwoman who was laying unconscious beside the bridge till LIKE powered up her suit then she woke up and flew away.
Mary didn’t tell anyone about the attack on her except Katie and she begs her that she should tell Alice who she knows is Beth that she shouldn’t worry about anyone trying to be Katie’s other sister because Katie doesn’t even pay attention to her, Mary.
Sophie tells Katie to move on.
Mary’s mother’s hands aren’t pure.
Katie receives a strange bat gift from Beth with a note that says “you have our father’s eyes”.
