Love, the bright light in my life,
Unrequited, a heavy strife,
A constant yearning deep inside,
For the love that I cannot hide.
It’s a flame that burns so bright,
Yet never reciprocated in sight,
Endless thoughts, sleepless nights,
Torn by this unrequited love’s might.
I try to move on and let it go,
But the heart wants what it wants, you know,
And it wants her, like the sun needs the light,
To shine on my world and make everything right.
But alas, love’s a tricky game,
And not everyone feels the same,
So I’ll let go and set it free,
And find the love that’s meant to be.
For sometimes, love and light may not align,
But I know the universe has a plan divine,

As I’ve watched you live,
I’ve felt my life gain purpose.
Your light so pure you give
Angels a chance to sing your chorus.
Your glow ever so bright,
My heart had fallen victim.
To your precarious fight,
For my attention on a whim.
And yet after the tedious stride,
I’d become nothing but a memory.

What a world we would have,
