Billy, A foster kid who is desperate to find his mother gets adopted into a home with 5 Children But when a doctor walks into a magical cave and retrieves a powerful demon ball that possesses him with 7 huge demons the foster kid gets transported to the cave and is given a magical power by the protector of the cave to transform into an adult superhero And be the saviour to unlock the other superheroes and defeat the evil that isn’t far away.
He confides in Freddie one of the children from his new foster home and he helps him discover the different super powers that he possesses and when they found out that if he says SHAZAM he can transform back to his young self and the Superhero; He goes home and goes to school and explores with the power daily.
Meanwhile, Dr. Sivana who unlocked the dark evil power is out for blood as he goes to his father’s company and killed all of the people in the board room including his father and brother for not believing him years back when he told them he saw something on their drive back home (he was transported to the magical cave and met the wizard who told him that he is looking for someone good enough to give the superpower and can’t give him cuzs he isn’t).
Freddie gets into trouble with some bullies at school and settled to get himself out by telling them that he knows the new superhero who everyone as been talking about; they told him to bring him to their school and have lunch the next day if not he won’t be spared.
Billy is passed that Freddie told them, so he didn’t show up for Freddie instead he went down town and was impressing people with his super powers.
After Freddie gets beaten, annoyed he shows up where Billy was using the lightning power he possesses to create sounds and impress the people who were recording him with their phones and he angrily tells him off but Billy was still busy showing off his lightning powers which flew across and hit the tyre of a bus carrying large number of people in it which sent it out of control and down a bridge but Billy races off and caught it. Freddie is still pissed and tells him he’s turned into a show-off and walks away.The evil man appears at the scene and asks Billy to give him his power or die .
Billy gets punched around and beaten by him but escapes by yelling SHAZAM and turned backed to normal.
Freddie shows up on the scene and was calling out “Billy”, the evil man sees him and sees the video on tv online with the two of them arguing and takes Freddie to show him where Billy is.
Billy returns to his foster home and gets scolded for missing classes.The foster kids finds out that Billy is the superhero guy. But Darla one of them already knew.
Eugene who knows how to use a computer very well gives the address of his mum to Billy and he races off to find her, his foster parent drives after him.
After they left, the evil man showed up in the house with Freddie.
Billy finds him mum and learns that his mother deliberately abandoned him because she didn’t have enough resources to take care of him. Billy races back home when he calls Freddie to apologise but finds out that the evil man is holding them all hostage.
Billy fights and releases them form the evil man and his demons but enriches their help when he recalls what the protector told him: he unlocks the powers of the brother and sisters of the protector and Freddie, Darla, Mary, Pedro and Eugene all turned into adult superheroes and helped Billy defeat the evil man and his demons.
Billy challenged the last demon ‘ENVY’ in the evil man to come out and fight leaving him powerless.
Billy removes the demon ball from the evil man’s eyes and ends everything. He goes to put the demon ball back.
Billy embraces his foster parents and siblings more and helps Freddie out with the bullies by showing up as the adult superhero during lunch in school. He came with SUPERMAN!
