NAIJA GOOD: TYPICAL COMMENT SECTION
NAIJA GOOD: TYPICAL COMMENT SECTIONS in Nigeria.
Nigerians are known to be fun, exotic with strong personalities;
We possess strong opinions with the ability to never run out of what to say.
The youths especially are charismatic and have a common language; one of the words of this common language is called, well -‘CRUISE’.
Always filled will constructive feedbacks no matter the topic, tweet, news or caption made. Nothing is dismissible.
The social media is an absolute tool for public opinions. Posts as well as new users/sign ins are one of the growths of each platform.
Many people have taken full advantages of these media platforms, downloaded the apps on their devices for frequent use and Nigeria is not an exception.
Examples of these popular social medias are: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
They have comment sections and if you want to have a good laugh, take this article as a recommendation to check on a Nigerian user’s comment section right now.
Have you seen the comment sections in this country, Nigeria? Huh?! Hilarious!
Twitter for example is a place for all kinds of communication including jests.
A carefree post made by a user results in other users taking turns to bring absolute cruise about the caption, venue, profile picture or just hilarious memes.
Another instance are celebrities, I mean even they have mastered the art of ‘Cruise’. Alongside compliments you would see comedy.
Examples: “Do giveaway” “it’s the leg for me” “fry me I’m your dodo”.
Someone would post about how he needs two million naira urgently. Another will say “God When” with crying emojis.
Now some of these comments are unnecessary but it is very important to know that Cruise is different from Criticism or Curses.
When you see them, you would be able to tell their difference. There is a fine line. There are Savage comments/responses though but it is still part of cruise.
Cruise is like a language or ability to create absolutely fun out of even the most serious situations. A great amount of the country uses it.
Most times when a NEWS post is made, I’m talking about BREAKING NEWS which is really common in this country or Government’s developmental news; the citizens would still not be deterred but would instead fashion some hilarity from an otherwise serious situation.
Above all, found in all TYPICAL COMMENT SECTION in Nigeria is a survival spirit, unity character and creation of a calmer conducive atmosphere in the face of disasters.
Thus, NAIJA GOOD.
