A song by LIL and MARS says …“mirror on the wall: here we are again; through my rise and fall-you’ve been my only friend…” Oh! Shivering streams to those lyrics.
See the qualities of a mirror as a fixed friend: a pinned but very useful friend. A frozen friend or better still a metal pal.
A truthful portable friend meant to decorate and adore. One thing a mirror will never do is lie. .,.yes! Now one quality a Human friend doesn’t have.
- A mirror reflects a perfectly clear image of the physical feature displayed in front of it.
- Ever looked at a mirror and smile?
- Ever danced in front of a mirror?
- Ever talked to a mirror?
- Ever stare at a mirror with admiration…
- Ever looked at a mirror and cry? Perhaps, it searches your soul and breaks plus mends your heart: perhaps it not only pays attention to the physical details but collides with whatever is in your head.
A mirror preaches truth but a broken mirror hurts and when a mirror is broken it lays vulnerable in the hands of the beholder waiting to be picked up and nursed with beautiful affections. There! Just like a friend.
A mirror shows you who you are or rather what you look like: “Show me your friend and i will tell you who you are”.
And when you come in with more friends I won’t get jealous but rather back you all up with my amalgam features.
MIRROR:
My Reflection: Your Prime..
My Broken Pieces: Your deal…
My Portability: Your refresh..
My Truth: Your Relief..
Your Companion Whenever!
…Give me the glory.
Perhaps be allergic to identifying my mistakes,
Be my portable furniture
And the twin that copies every move I make,
That listens with clone expressions and feelings but without saying a word..
That makes me feel better without demonstrating any advantages.
Perhaps my SUPERHUMAN.
Maybe not you… I can only plead with the mirror on the wall.
MIRROR: MIRROR ON THE WALL; you are the friendliest of them all!
