BOB has a heart attack and is rushed to the hospital where he meets Abishola-the cardiac nurse assigned to take care of him.
Abishola, a Nigerian-Yoruba single mother whose witty and stern personality plus her diverse background, accents and ways intrigues Bob who is a plus sized, jovial business man from DETROIT who runs his family’s sock company with his mother-DOTTIE, his sister-CHRISTINA and his younger brother-DOUGLAS.
Bob is discharged from the hospital the next day and while trying to solve some problems at work that resulted into a confusion between him and his co-workers/family: he lays back on his chair and starts remembering the Yoruba song Abishola was singing when he was trying to pee back at the hospital.
He goes back to the hospital to look for Abishola and collected her address. He goes to her house to give her the socks he promises her and tries to ask her out on a date.
Abishola like the socks Bob gave her including her uncle.
Abishola’s son-DELE gets into a fight at school and is giving 3 days suspension; his mum agrees to let him join the athletes at school.
Bob brings more socks for Abishola at work.
