Television Special by English Singer-Song writer that aired on November 14, 2021 by CBS while being simulcast on Paramount+ featured ADELE performing three unheard song from her new album 30 and her studio albums 19, 21 and 25.
With a beautiful Orchestra, Band and back-up singers, A primetime extraordinary musical performances from Adele interspersed with her interview with television host -OPRAH WINFREY; she talked about her son, divorce, deadlifts, process of being a single parent, not seeing her child everyday, running a home, running a business, getting therapy, her weight loss journey, anxiety, her dad and how she’s tackling love and relationships presently.
During the show, ADELE helps a couple with ‘happily ever after’, “.. if you make a sound I’m gonna kill you” Adele says to the just informed A List audience: QUENTON BRUNSON had seen the post on social media and actually thought it’s a fake show had no idea it was ADELE’s One Night Only (he said later on in an interview with his fiancee) but for a perfect proposal to his girlfriend for seven years, Quenton blindfolds his girlfriend to the dimmed light hall, filled with A List crowd and she kept saying “where are we”, “who are these people”, he thanks her for being patient with him, tells her he is proud of her and asks a stunned, teary ASHLEIGH MANN to marry him -She said Yes!
And Adele sings ‘MAKE YOU FEEL MY LOVE’ dedicated to them immediately after she asks them to sit at the front row with MELISSA MCCARTHY, LIZZO..
This is a promotional blitz for her new album ’30’, but also wrapped in story-telling, emotions and elegance; the show is overwhelming but some humors too as Adele even makes some jokes, one about her dress.
